When will Facebook fizzle??

So if you live on planet Earth you probably have heard of the biggest social networking site in the world, Facebook.
If you have heard of it, chances are, your one of the 250,000,000 users actively logged in throughout the week.
Facebook, which started out in the U.S. now spans to almost 200 countries & 90 translations, which makes over 70% of its users from other countries outside the U.S.!
Over 5 billion minutes are consumed worldwide surfing facebook, over 1 billion photos are downloaded every month, and these amounts are not letting up by any means.
Now you may be thinking to yourself, with this much growth how can Facebook possibly fizzle!?

Now before I answer that let me ask you a question. How many friends do you have on facebook? 100? 500? 1000??
With social networking sights there main goal is to keep you connected to as many people as possibly so you continue to add more and more friends.
But have you ever noticed the more friends you add the less conversations you have with your true friends?
Take for instance this example, Shelly started using Facebook to connect with her co-workers for work related reasons. But the more Shelly used Facebook the more people she began to add. Before she knew it she had not only co-worker but friends from high school, a couple people she briefly dated, some politicians, some concert performers, and mom.
Now think about this, because your discussions wall to wall are public, are you as likely to talk about certain things with people when you know that others might not interpret your inside jokes or personal posts?
Exactly.
One things that any person can do to keep your Facebook genuine is get rid of acquaintances or people you rarely or never talk to.
So what do people end up doing when they begin to get bored with Facebook? Do what they always do- Go back to email.

To conclude I beg the question what Facebook do about this?
I propose social networking needs to design layouts with more personal options that allows you to create your own special circle of friends.
Will this save Facebook?
In the long run, no.
Sooner or later there will be a bigger and better networking sight and the fad that was once called Facebook will ultimately fade into oblivion. So my conclusion is yes sooner or later
Facebook will fizzle.

I agree that eventually, facebook won't be the big thing anymore. Myspace used to be the "it" site and now it is just falling off the face of the earth.
